The Derwent Spraydeck features a full fabric PU coated nylon construction, whilst all of the seams are also taped for added protection agaisnt water ingress. The spraydeck is secured to the kayak via a 6mm shockcord edge. This makes it very easy to get on and off. In the event of a capsize, there is also a front release handle. The Derwent deck incorproates a single sized waist so it can be worn by a variety of users, once againt this has a shockcord adjustment.
