The new 2011/12 design has kept the same shaft and pick angle as the original Nomic but has had the handle improved with an adjustable grip rest to give a better ergonomic feel (when first released in early 2011 there where some problems with the adjustable grip rest but this has now been fixed by the Petzl boffins).
