HL18R

The Fenix HL18R headlamp has a maximum output of 400 lumens from the Cree XP-G3 warm white and Everlight 2835 cool white light LEDs. The light can be powered by the included 1300mAh Li-polymer battery pack or 3 x AAA (NiMH or alkaline) batteries. 
Offering a multitude of outputs and modes, the HL18R offers a spot and floodlight in one neat package, allowing you to choose the ideal light setting for your application. The light is operated using a dual switch which provides quick and easy access to all the modes. In addition, the head torch features a lockout mode to prevent accidental activation when not in use.

Operation:
Press and hold either switch to turn the lamp on and off (low output is selected by default)
When on, single click the spotlight button for spotlight mode or the floodlight button for floodlight mode
In spotlight mode, single click the spotlight button to cycle through the modes, in order Low>Med>High>Turbo
In floodlight mode, single click the floodlight button to cycle through the modes, in order Low>High>SOS
With the lamp off, press and hold either switch for 3 seconds to enter and exit lockout mode

With a built-in, Li-polymer battery, the Fenix HL18R can be recharged via a micro USB port on the bottom of the headlamp. The light has a blue LED indicator which blinks to keep you updated on the charging process. The indicator also provides the battery level when not charging, simply single click either switch with the torch turned off. If all four lights come on, the battery is between 80% and 100%, if three lights show it is between 60% and 80%, two lights means between 40% and 60%, one light means between 20% and 40% and if one light flashes it means the battery is between 0% and 20%.
