Whilst not strictly a new title this new guide written by Alan James and Mike Robertson is a thorough update on the old edition originally published in 1995. As with all recent Rockfax publications the guide is in full colour throughout with great photo-topos and some stunning action shots - the guide is a selective covering the major sections of Pembroke's best cliffs. There are over 650 routes described including a healthy chunk from North Pembroke and all the popular areas in Range east from Flimstone Bay around to Mother Carey's Kitchen are well documented.
The new Pembroke Stackpole / Lydstep describes over 1100 routes over a fifteen mile stretch of the Pembrokeshire coastline – idyllic coves separated by picturesque beaches characterise much of the climbing in this area.
Pembroke Range West – volume 2 – is the last in the definitive series (but by Range West devotees is not viewed as the least). As the name suggests it covers the part of Castlemartin Range extending westwards from Stack Rocks car park.
