The Leki Makalu Lite walking pole is the lightest all-aluminium pole in Leki's Ultralite range, giving it the edge on long-distance expeditions and shorter hikes when efficiency is crucial. Straightforward and smart in near-monochrome, it's designed to do the job so well that it feels like an extension of your arm. The Makalu Lite is the easiest, most comfortable telescopic pole to use on flat to hilly terrain, it features quick and easy SpeedLock length adjustment, Aergon Air grip and a supple, lightweight strap for comfortable wrist support, even without gloves.

The Leki Makalu Lite is the smaller sister of the classic Makalu and is a slightly lighter yet reliable companion for your next mountain adventure! The Makalu Lite is equipped with the new Aergon Air, which has been redesigned for comfort and control and has been improved in countless details. The special hollow core technology combines lightweight construction with large, supportive surfaces that meet all the ergonomic requirements of your hand. Maximum grip and control when going downhill is provided by the Aergon Air's rubberized grip back. The inclined angle supports your wrist for optimal guidance and placement of the pole and contributes to the safety on the mountain.

Replacement plastic expander for classic twist lock Leki Poles. These are very easy to tell apart from newer expanders as there is no split down the side and it is bright orange. They wear out very slowly, but if you feel that your pole is no longer locking as securely as it used to, it might be time to get some new ones.
