Captur Pro

The OCUN Captur Pro is a shock absorber for via ferrata.

The purpose of this equipment is to gradually absorb the effects of a fall that may occur during a climb, and to reduce the energy generated to an acceptable value (with a 40 kg load in the dry, to a maximum impact force of 3.5 kN; with a 120 kg load in the dry, to a maximum impact force of 6 kN; with a 120 kg load in the wet, to a maximum impact force of 8 kN). This equipment must be used in combination with a full-body or sit harness. If the user is wearing a rucksack, it is recommended to use the VF set with a combined sit and chest harness, or a full-body harness. The climbing harness you use must comply with the valid standard EN 12277. The VF set must be connected to the harness, i.e. with its tie-in point. This method of tying in will prevent any spontaneous untying or the disconnection of the set from harness.
