This is made possible thanks to the durable recycled nylon exterior with its 850 cuin fill power derived from responsibly sourced hydrophobic down that insulates even in wet conditions. The backpack- and harness-compatible pockets can be used for your essentials when you're touring or belaying, and you can even stow the jacket inside itself if you need a warmth backup.

DRY DOWN: A high-performance down insulation with a water-based, PFC-free treatment, Nikwax Hydrophobic Down maintains its loft and insulating properties even with seven days of constant exposure to water, keeping you warmer longer.
Mammut Down 850 cuin: The fill power of down is rated in cuin (cubic inches per ounce): the higher the cuin rating, the greater the wadding and therefore thermal insulation per weight.
Responsible down: This product contains down and feathers sourced from well-treated animals. Collection from live birds (live-plucking) as well as force-feeding are strictly prohibited.
PFC-free DWR: Perfluorinated compounds (PFCs) are often used for waterproofing but are practically non-biodegradable. Mammut is committed to replacing non-biodegradable fabric treatments with more sustainable high-performance alternatives.
