Fox 30

The Deuter Fox 30 is a 30L backpack designed for children, suitable for both novice and seasoned trekkers thanks to its swift adaptability with the Vari Quick shoulder harness. This backpack's versatility allows it to remain useful until your child is ready for an adult-sized pack, translating into significant cost savings as you won't need to replace cartoon-themed kids' backpacks season after season.

A great bonus of the Deuter Fox 30 is the ability to hold a hydration pack that can fit right into the Deuter Fox 30, so kids can drink through the straw secured at their shoulder all along the trail instead of having to stop for each sip.

You’d expect that all the features would weigh down the pack and make it hard for little ones to carry on their own, but the strong hip belt that transfers weight off your shoulders goes a long way towards lightening the load.  Add in the side compression straps for stabilizing the weight into the center of the pack, and it’s surprisingly easy for even a 5 year old to wear with their essentials in it. All this and Deuter’s Alpine Back System for ventilation makes it just as comfortable as the adult version.
