FAQs:
How do I Clean my OMM Hydration Product?
Easy! Just be sure to rinse out after every use and use washing-up liquid and warm water to wash through regularly. Its also worth investing in a bottle brush to really get in there. ITs also possible to turn the Ultra Flexi Flasks inside out to scrub the insides. You can also use sterilizing tablets or powder such as those used for baby bottles.
What's a BPA when its at home?
Bisphenol A (BPA) is a chemical produced in large quantities for use primarily in the production of polycarbonate plastics. It is found in various products including water bottles, and epoxy resins that coat some metal food cans, bottle tops, and water supply pipes. OMM's bottles and flask are free of BPAs.
Bottle, flask or bladder?
That’s up to you! Bottles are handy to refill as you can easily scoop water and hold their shape when standing. Flasks hold a lot of fluid and tuck away into your pack distributing the weight down your back plus they’re super easy to take lots of little sips from to stay hydrated. Soft flasks are really handy to carry just in case as they squash away when not in use and tend to stop liquid sloshing around like in the other options. But… Water bottles are bulky and take up pack or vest space. Bladders warm up against your back (tepid water; yum!) and you can’t keep an eye on how much you’ve drank (clue; not enough!) plus they’re awkward to refill. Flasks can be hard to refill on the go or in a rush and they can be hard to get in and out of vest or pack pockets when half full. So there is not definitive answer…you’ve just got to see which you prefer.
