With roots going back to 1968, P & H has a long-standing reputation for designing performance-driven kayaks for dedicated paddlers. Initially focused on slalom and surf kayaks, the brand evolved over the decades to introduce key models such as the Orinoco (licensed by Pyranha in 1975) and their first composite sea kayaks in 1979. The launch of the Capella in the mid-1990s marked a milestone in the sea kayaking world, offering a durable plastic design that remains a favourite among paddlers of all levels. In 2003, P & H was acquired by Pyranha Mouldings Ltd, a company also behind leading names like Pyranha Kayaks, Venture Canoes, and Venture Kayaks.
