Caving

The Petzl OK Oval has been designed for use with pulleys, but is also very useful as a general purpose karabiner at belays and for caving cow-tails. It has an oval shape that allows optimal loading of devices with a wide cross-section, such as pulleys, rope clamps and mobile fall arresters. This lightweight karabiner is made of aluminium and it is available in three different locking systems.

The Petzl Superavanti caving harness delivers on low-weight and durability. The leg loops are reinforced with TPU for abrasion resistance, whilst the gear loops and attachment points have been made with HMPE for long-lasting durability. The attachment points are positioned low, allowing you to ascend the rope more easily and efficiently. Four gear loops allow you to carry all the gear necessary to progress, and the adjustment buckles are positioned inside the leg loops, limiting the risk of snagging in narrow passages.

The Warmbac 100m Rope Bag is suitable for 100m caving ropes or less with some caving kit. There are also a few other sizes of rope bag, so what ever length your caving rope is there will be a rope bag to fit it.

The Warmbac lightweight oversuit is a great option for overseas trips and expeditions. Being more compact and lighter in weight than some of the alternatives. This oversuit will pack down easily into a tackle bag and still leave space for your ropes and SRT Kit. These caving overalls are made from a 7oz / 450 denier nylon, it's also soft and flexible. This suit is easy to get on and off due to the front opening, this is secured by a zip which is protected by a Velcro secured baffle.

The Warmbac Cordura Oversuit is one of the toughest and most durable sets of caving overalls available, it's easy to get on and off and will give many years of great performance. This caving oversuit features a full Cordura construction. The oversuit is easy to get on and off due to the zip front opening, the zip is then protected by a Velcro secured flap. The wrists are made of non-adjustable neoprene, the neck seal is also made of neoprene but this does also incorporate Velcro adjustment.

Warmbac has designed the caving rope bag to feature a very tough and durable PVC construction. The HM65R Shadowmaster is a rethinking of the standard HM65R. The magnesium alloy body still provides a light weight for the level of durability, as well as good dissipation of heat. However, the 400 lumen floodlight has been removed, and in its place sits a 150 lumen red floodlight, while the main beam as been improved, from 1000 to 1200 lumens, to compensate for this. The Petzl Freino Z is an automatic locking karabiner with friction spur for use with the Stop and Simple caving descenders. It allows the user to increase or control the braking action of the descent, as well as facilitating the creation of a tie-off. The Freino Z can be rotated in order to make the descender loss-proof when transferred from gear loop to semi-circular karabiner.
