Welcome to the watersports section of our website. Up and Under has been supplying watersports equipment since the business opened in 1977. We have a massive amount of knowledge and experience. We are also the largest Canoe and Kayak Store in South Wales and are only 10 minutes drive from, The Cardiff International White Water Centre. (CIWW) If you want to get wet, we will help you get on the water!

Valley Etain
The Valley Etain is an expedition sea kayak that's available in three sizes. It is available in either a standard glass and diolen construction or a Kevlar and Carbon construction. The Etain features a four hatch configuration which offers plenty of storage and the deck design incorporates a full array of deck elastics. The cockpit is large and easy to access, it also includes a supportive backrest and seat pad, further support is achieved from the adjustable footrests.

Valley Skeg Wire
The Valley skeg wire is about 230cm long. It's made from a metal wire and it is particularly designed to fit Valley Sea Kayaks. This kayak skeg cable may well fit other brands to! It is easily fed through the tubing on the sea kayak and then bolts into the skeg blade.

Valley Skeg Slider Tube
The Valley Skeg Slider Tube is made of carbon and fits into he slider unit adjacent to the kayak cockpit. It helps to deploy and retract the kayak skeg located at the rear of the kayak. There are two variants of the skeg slider tube and this depends on what is currently fitted. The first option is the version with the central hole and the second variant has a hole drilled at the end of the unit.

The Valley skeg slider button, a small button that is located on the side of the kayak to assist with deploying and retracting the kayak skeg. There are two variants of this and they both secure to the skeg slider tube.

Valley Sirona RM
The Valley Sirona RM is a fantastic replacement for the much loved Avocet kayak, and it more than lives up to the expectations. It's relatively short, at a length of 16 feet, which allows for plenty of play in the tides and manoeuvring around rock gardens. It is still however long enough to hold its speed on longer distance trips, even when fully loaded for overnight use. The Sirona is a great choice for paddlers looking for a boat that's suitable for day trips, with the occasional overnighter.

The Valley Round Rim is great for adding extra storage to your sea kayak. It will retrofit most Valley branded kayaks, as well as some other brands. IT works especially well in conjunction with the VCP round hatch cover. The rim is easily secured with adhesive.

The Valley Canoe Products round hatch cover comes in a range of 5 different size options. It's easy to work out which one you need and they are the genuine product from Valley Sea Kayaks. They are also lightweight and will fit your sea kayak with ease, it's the best way of keeping the water out of your chosen craft.

Valley Oval Rim
The Valley Oval Rim is made from tough durable plastic, designed to retro fit onto a Valley kayak; it will also work on other brands. It works particularly well in conjunction with the oval hatch cover. Valley have designed the oval hatch rim to offer a secure and snug fit with their oval hatch cover. It is easily fitted to the Valley range of sea kayaks and is ideal for replacing a damaged kayak hatch rim.

Venture Flex Fit 4
The Venture Flex Fit 4 is a recreational touring kayak that's ideal for taking to the water for the first time. It's a great option for exploring your local waterway, whether it’s cruising along your local canal or round the lake, the Flex 11 will do it all. Featuring a large easy access cockpit, a padded seat and an adjustable footrest. The rear of the kayak then has an oval kayak storage hatch and a retractable skeg for enhanced directional stability.

Venture End Deck
The Venture End Deck is available in two sizes and they are sold as single units. The one size fits models Venture Canoes such as the ranger, while the second size of deck plate fits other models in their range such as the Venture Prospector. They are easy to fit and are easily secured on with rivets.
