Welcome to the watersports section of our website. Up and Under has been supplying watersports equipment since the business opened in 1977. We have a massive amount of knowledge and experience. We are also the largest Canoe and Kayak Store in South Wales and are only 10 minutes drive from, The Cardiff International White Water Centre. (CIWW) If you want to get wet, we will help you get on the water!

Our watersports section is broken down into 12 main areas, which are detailed below.

New for 2026 is the Equipment department. This covers a few areas, the main ones being Dry Storage, Portage Trolleys and Safety and Rescue. Dry Storage covers a wide offering and includes items such as Drybags, Phone / Key Pouches and First aid Storage. Whilst the Portage Trolleys section is the best place to see the latest offerings from Eckla! Whether you need a Trolley for a Sit on Top Kayak, a Canadian Canoe or a Sea Kayak, this is the place. When it comes to Safety and Rescue whilst on the river, have a look here for a great selection of safety kit! Open Canoeing - If your looking to keep with tradition and take to the water in a Canadian Canoe, this is the area to be. An open canoe is great for family use and also then enables you to partake in canoe camping trips and bushcraft adventures. Stand Up Paddle Boarding - A fantastic watersport which is all about exploring the local waterways available. Whether you want to SUP on a lake or go paddle boarding on a canal. We have the gear to suit! We have a great range of paddle board packages, buoyancy aids (PFDs), wetsuits. We also have plenty of dry storage options such as drybags and phone cases. Sea Kayaking - This is the place for all thing salty. Whether your into coastal sea kayaking trips or you rather open water sea kayaking. We have the sea kayaking equipment you need. Whether you want an expedition sea kayak a playful option of a day touring kayak. We have it! We also stock a range of both straight shaft and cranked shaft sea kayak paddles. Whilst its not always about a new kayak purchase, we also stock a good range of sea kayak outfitting. This helps to keep your current boat in service to the highest standard.
