The Wild Country Meshuga are Velcro climbing shoes that provide excellent sensitivity and flexibility for vertical to steep overhanging routes, be it bouldering, sport or trad. The Michelin rubber sole provides excellent traction. The moderate to flexible stiffness and close fit allows you to gain more traction on overhanging sections to prefect that toe hook. The Yates Copper Double Head is intended for use in vertical cracks. They are more difficult to bash into a seam, but provide greater holding power than aluminium heads, therefor tend to be used in shallower and more tenuous placements. This double version is ideal for smears that are long and narrow.
