The Petzl Crevasse Rescue Kit is a definite essential piece of kit for alpine climbing, mountaineering, glacial travel (whether on foot or ski) for training courses. This kit allows for rapid deployment and use in rescues where someone falls in a crevasse.

The Petzl Swivel Open provides both direct attachment as well as reduces twist and tangling of ropes and lanyards. The gates located on both sides of the swivel have a large opening, allowing the installation of a range of lanyards, fixed rope terminations, and fixed metal attachment points. The rotation of the swivel is aided with the maintenance free sealed ball bearings.

The Jag is a double rope pulley used to reduce friction in the system making hauling more efficient. It can be paired with other pulleys to provide mechanical advantage, or with the Jag Traxion to create a progress capture 4:1 system.

The Jag Traxion is a progress capture double rope pulley that can be used in haul systems to provide mechanical advantage. Petzl have designed this Traxion specifically to work alongside the Jag double rope pulley so a 4:1 haul system can be created. Sealed ball bearing massively reduce friction, reducing the effort required when moving a load.

The Petzl Mobile is a compact and lightweight pulley for hauling systems and deviations. To increase efficiency the sheave is mounted on a self-lubricating bushing.

The Petzl ASAP Lock is a mobile fall arrest device with the added function of a lock. The lock allows the user to immobilize the device to reduce the length of a fall. As with the Petzl ASAP, the ASAP Lock locks on the rope when it is shock loaded, stopping the user from falling any further. The connection arm makes the system loss-resistant when passing intermediate anchors. Please note, the ASAP LOCK must be used with an energy absorbing lanyard to work at a distance from the rope.

The Petzl Chest'Air is a chest harness for use in conjunction with a seat harness, such as the Falcon, Avao Sit or Sequoia SRT. When used together they become a fall-arrest harness that will keep a victim upright during rescue. The Petzl Vizir Shadow is a tinted eye shield with an Easyclip system for the Vertex and Strato helmets. The visor provides eye protection against projectile hazards and it has a level 2.5 solar protection filter, and anti-scratch and anti-fog treatments.

The Petzl Torse clips securely onto the back of your sit harness and loops up over your shoulders and holds the Croll in position. It offers a little more back support than "bra style" chest harnesses. It is easily adjustable before a pitch or to fit different sizes of caver.

At 85g, the Petzl Micro Traxion pulley is perfect to keep on your harness for emergency use. The Petzl Sarken is a crampon which can be used for both classical mountain routes and for harder more technical routes. This crampon is based on a classic 12 point design but the two front points are very unique compared to any other crampon on the market. The front two teeth are shaped like a T with a slightly longer downward facing point on. This means that they work well when walking on or climbing on soft snow (standard technical points tend to rail).

The Petzl Kootenay has a large diameter sheave on sealed ball bearings, providing good efficiency and rope care, and the high volume rope channel allows knots to pass through. The Kootenay also has the ability to be used as an anchor thanks the locking pins on the sheave.

The Petzl Fakir Crampon Bag carrying bag is designed for carrying crampons but this zippered nylon compartment is also great for carrying screws, extra picks and other ice walking equipment. A reinforced, semi-rigid bottom protects your pack from sharp tips while a mesh top panel which allows water to escape and your equipment to dry, preventing rust.
