Welcome to the watersports section of our website. Up and Under has been supplying watersports equipment since the business opened in 1977. We have a massive amount of knowledge and experience. We are also the largest Canoe and Kayak Store in South Wales and are only 10 minutes drive from, The Cardiff International White Water Centre. (CIWW) If you want to get wet, we will help you get on the water!

Streamlyte Reactor Polo CXT
The Streamlyte Reactor Polo CXT is a canoe polo paddle that features classic asymmetric shaped blades. This is a very popular choice for many paddlers who play in various positions on the polo pitch. The blades feature a high quality carbon construction, while the paddle shaft can be made from either heavy duty fibreglass or extreme carbon. The Streamlyte Kinetix SX Enthusiast is a mid-range white-water kayak paddle that's been designed and manufactured here in the UK. It's ideal for river running, playboating and even a bit of kayak surfing. The Kinetic SX features a pair of asymmetric paddle blades, manufactured from injection moulded nylon 12. The paddle blades are then mounted on a semi carbon for greater strength at a reduced weight. This is a great option for paddlers who are looking for the best levels of performance, durability and strength, without a huge increase in price.

Streamlyte Kidzstix Foundation
The Streamlyte Kidzstix Foundation is a great first time kayak paddle for the smaller junior paddlers. This child’s paddle features a fibreglass paddle shaft which is partnered with a pair of short fibre reinforced polypropylene paddle blades that are asymmetric in shape. With junior paddlers in mind, both the glass paddle shaft and the paddle blades have been reduced in size. The paddle shaft is narrower than a regular shaft and the paddle blades are also reduced in surface area.

Peak PS Rescue Tape
The Peak PS Rescue Tape is a highly versatile piece of kayak safety gear. Whether you are whitewater kayaking, guiding a coasteering trip or working with a water rescue team. The rescue tape should be on the list of must have bits of gear. It is so versatile. You can use it as a short length rescue tape; you can create a land-based belay point to keep yourself safe and you can also use it in conjunction with a karabiner to create a full loop to wear over the shoulder for a boat rescue. This Peak Rescue Tape is 5m Long and is 20mm in width. It has an exceptionally durable tubular webbing construction and easily stores in the pocket of your PFD. Each end of the rescue tape is bar tack stitched, this enables you to clip in a karabiner if required.

Peak PS Shoes
The Peak PS Shoes are a great choice if you're planning on spending lots of time near the water as they're lightweight, low profile and flexible. These neoprene shoes are ideal for sports such as Stand up Paddle Boarding and Sit on Top Kayaking. Whilst they're not as warm as neoprene socks, they offer much better underfoot protection thanks to grippy rubber sole reinforcements.
