Welcome to the watersports section of our website. Up and Under has been supplying watersports equipment since the business opened in 1977. We have a massive amount of knowledge and experience. We are also the largest Canoe and Kayak Store in South Wales and are only 10 minutes drive from, The Cardiff International White Water Centre. (CIWW) If you want to get wet, we will help you get on the water!

Peak PS Rescue Tape
The Peak PS Rescue Tape is a highly versatile piece of kayak safety gear. Whether you are whitewater kayaking, guiding a coasteering trip or working with a water rescue team. The rescue tape should be on the list of must have bits of gear. It is so versatile. You can use it as a short length rescue tape; you can create a land-based belay point to keep yourself safe and you can also use it in conjunction with a karabiner to create a full loop to wear over the shoulder for a boat rescue. This Peak Rescue Tape is 5m Long and is 20mm in width. It has an exceptionally durable tubular webbing construction and easily stores in the pocket of your PFD. Each end of the rescue tape is bar tack stitched, this enables you to clip in a karabiner if required.

HF Equipment Shark Throw Bag
The HF Equipment Shark Throw Bag is a great piece of kayaking safety gear. But it stands out as the top consideration for water rescue teams. The Shark is the highest specification rescue bag that we offer, why we hear you ask! It is amazingly simple; the internal rescue line is 9mm in diameter and measures 20m in length. So, what makes this special? It is the fact that it comes with an EN1891 rating. This means that not only can it be used for water rescue, but you can also abseil on it if required. The Shark throw bag has a roll top close design, which incorporates handles for ease of packing. It features sewn eyelets in the back of the bag so it can be waist mounted and has an internal pocket which is perfect for storing a screw gate karabiner.
